Help a father receive lifesaving heart transplant

My name is Tyler Burlingame I am a 37 year old single father of an amazing 13 year old daughter. I was born and raised in Bellingham WA and the surrounding area and am a graduate of Squalicum High School in Bellingham.

 

A few days before thanksgiving 2021, 
I was hospitalized for 18 days in St. Joseph ICU with complications from the coronavirus vaccination.  My heart was failing and I had developed 3 blood  clots inside my heart and 1  clot in my leg. My lungs and kidneys were failing as well. I was left with a heart that was functioning at only 15% , and I was placed on a Bi-pap machine to assist my breathing. The doctors were astounded with the findings.

 

I was already disabled from a botched simple surgery in 2011. It was followed up with years of countless corrective surgeries, 7 in total and lengthy recoveries.  Robbing me of a normal life and my daughter of a normal father,  and now I am left with a massive decline in my health and an uncertain future. My cardiologist informed me I would not live without a heart transplant. After my 16 day stay in ICU I was released to go home and now require oxygen 24 hrs a day along with 24hr. Cardiologist monitoring and a defibrillator strapped to my chest. This whole thing seems like a nightmare, especially at my young age.

 

I am asking your help to fund my out of pocket estimated expenses for a heart transplant I require now, which is approximately $400,000 dollars. I will be seeking medical care /heart transplant at Harborview hospital in Seattle. I will be placed on the Uno's transplant waiting list and getting my pre surgery testing completed.  But there is the issue of the costly expenses of surgery, Physician cost and the month long hospital stay for recovery , along with lodging /transportation for family during my hospital stay. I also have substantial out of pocket medication expenses after returning home from my recent hospital stay. I now have nurses coming to my home to provide my medical care on a regular basis, and after the transplant I will need to be on anti-rejection drugs for the rest of my life at the cost of $2500 per month. Unfortunately I cannot afford it on my income.
