Please Help Renee Fight Cancer

Unbelievable but True! Please help my colleague and friend ! This family has endured more tragedy than most can imagine.  My colleague Brian Mckoy and his wife Renee lost their only daughter to brain damage caused by a seizure disorder that she had since birth. She passed away at 19 months old. Two years later their son was shot and killed.  Despite the tears, heartbreak and devastation these tragedies caused, Renee managed to pull herself together and return to school to become a nurse.   She was inspired by the wonderful care the nurses and other medical professionals had given her daughter. She desperately felt a need to give back. Yet AGAIN, this family finds itself in the midst of another major crisis. Renee was just one semester short of achieving her goal of graduating nursing school.   Renee has now been diagnosed with stage (3) Rectal Cancer. The treatment plan consists of 7 weeks of daily concurrent chemotherapy and radiation followed by surgery and then another round of chemotherapy.  Renee has begun the daily chemotherapy and radiation . The nausea and fatigue from the treatments have rendered her unable to work. She is devastated that she has had to drop out of school while under going treatment . In order to get to her treatments her husband has had to cut his work day dramatically. This has created a huge financial hardship on the family. I am asking for any assistance you can give to ease their burden.
