<div>My name is Amy McClintock-Zamora, and I am helping my childhood best friend, Rebecca, raise money for her cancer treatments, medications, and transportation.

<div><strong>Why I'm fundraising</strong>
</div>
<div>On December 14, 2023 Rebecca was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer (non-smoker) that has metastasized into bone cancer. Rebecca needs to begin treatments and medications immediately.
</div>
<div>Rebecca and her husband of 26 years, Sean, have two beautiful children, Samantha (18) and Ty (16). Not only is Rebecca a devoted mother and wife, she is a high school English teacher at Coral Academy of Science, Reno. Prior to receiving her diagnosis, she was a Crossfit enthusiast at Double Edge Fitness. She also enjoyed pilates.

<div>Rebecca will need radiation therapy to target seven bone lesions, pain management, and an abundant amount of medication to keep her comfortable. Within a week of her diagnosis, she underwent an emergency cervical corrective surgery as the cancer had attacked her neck causing a fracture. The financial impact that this will have on her family is unimaginable.

<div>Despite hearing Stage 4 and knowing the road ahead will be unpredictable, Rebecca is in good spirits and living to her fullest every single day. She is a warrior!
