Pastor Denis Podorojniy has devoted his whole life to serving and helping people, encouraging them, and restoring their lives. For over 30 years, he has been pastoring a Church in Uzbekistan and is a well-known minister across the world. Now, he is fighting for his own life.
A few days ago, Pastor Denis was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. He is in urgent need of treatment (including a likely surgery to remove the tumor) and the care necessary is both time-sensitive and extremely expensive. The funds raised in this GoFundMe will immediately go to the payment of his care and surgery.
His family, wife Marina, sons David and Daniel, and his youngest daughter Michelle are grateful for any help in prayer, financial support and sharing their family’s critical need.
The current health situation:
December 27, 2020, at one of the Sunday services, Denis became very sick. Several tests, examinations were performed, and consultations with doctors from different countries took place. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor (7.4 x 6.0 x 7.9 cm) which is affecting his speech center.
We hope that the tumor is operable, but to confirm, we need to raise sufficient funds first for an urgent complete medical review, and then for a complex operation, treatment, and future rehabilitation.

Denis Podorojniy was born December 11, 1971 (49 years old) to a family of teachers in Tashkent. At the age of twenty, he found God and became the pastor of a Protestant church. His ministry soon spread both at home in Uzbekistan and in different parts of the world - the CIS countries, the Baltics, Europe, the USA, South Korea, and more. Denis Podorojniy is a dynamic preacher of the Word of God. His messages are Biblically sound, full of God's truth, but also engaging and easy to understand. He is also known for his Christian television ministry and numerous Internet publications. Pastor Denis is a person who loves and deeply cares for people. His heart is tender to those who are in prisons, hospitals, orphanages. He laid down his whole life for the disadvantaged and God-seeking.
Denis is married to Marina and together they raised two older sons David and Daniel and now an eight-year-old daughter, Michelle. Friends, relatives, and acquaintances know Denis as a kind, very generous, and loving person who is always ready to help and support! In 2009, he received the title of Honorary Doctor of Theology from the Latin University of Theology (USA).
Pastor Denis does not intend to give up! Both he and his family are full of faith, ready and willing to fight for his life!
