She was on the phone with her bank and the EDD, and they said there is nothing she can do about it since it was a federal order by the new administration. <div>The $12,900 was awarded to her because she had a horrible car accident in 2023 where she suffered a traumatic brain injury and has permanent partial hearing loss in her left ear. She is a single mother to a son who’s autistic, and she was saving that money for herself and for her son. She’s gone through a lot, surviving stage 2 cervical cancer and almost dying from a cone biopsy which led to hemorrhaging in 2022 for four days straight. She had to have an emergency hysterectomy, and then she had this horrible car accident in November of 2023.

<div>She was an avid supporter of this administration and even became a part of the RNC, working at 5 polling places the night of the election to make sure she was doing her civic duty to ensure Trump became President. She is absolutely hurt and distraught that this happened to her of all people. They didn’t mail her anything, didn’t personally serve her, didn’t serve her any certified mail, and they went into her account and levied it, which is illegal because anything court-related requires notice.
