Please help my parents, lost everything in fire

Please help if you can, anything would be greatly appreciated. We're trying to raise funds for our mom Beata and her partner, Kevin's house that caught on fire the evening of Sunday May 16th. The goal posted is just an arbitrary number, we aren't looking for a specific amount, we're just hoping to help.
This was their dream home, a cabin in the woods and their retirement fund. They live in a small town Newtonville, Ontario where there are no fire hydrants and while the fire department did the best they could, they ultimately had to just watch their house burn until it was gone. The fire happened so quickly they weren't even able to get out items like their ID's or cell phone, and worst of all, the cats got spooked and all hid. Still waiting to see if any of them made it out. The insurance company is causing problems now, trying to find loop holes to either pay very little or maybe not even at all. Their biggest fear is that they'll be left with nothing. They were quoted it would cost $700-900,000 to rebuild due to the current market cost of materials, and that's not including replacing the items inside.
Kevin had a workshop attached to the house with carpentry materials, as a side hobby, which he had built up the tools over a lifetime. My mom came as an immigrant from Poland in the late 80's with my sister and I, and was so proud of the life she had created for herself. Thankfully the sheep, chickens, dog and barn cats are ok, but the pieces from her home are gone, which will be tough for a while.
They are hoping to get a trailer on the property and build a new workshop, which they will then use to build the rest of their house as Kevin has some background in architecture and carpentry skills, and my mom has a landscape business with construction skills. As a couple in their 60's, this is heartbreaking at this age as this home was their nest egg and if the insurance company doesn't give them anything, they are truly left with nothing.
Please help us give them a little head start at a new life.
