<div>Hi, my name is Karen. Bill &amp; Janet Lawson are my parents. As some of you know, my father's health has not been well for a little while. A couple of months ago, Daddy fell (one of many falls) at their home in Georgia.   Mom took him to urgent care because he was delusional, saying things that didn't make any sense at all. Urgent care called an ambulance because daddy was hypotensive. Daddy stayed on the trauma ward for awhile. Turns out daddy was septic. Eventually, daddy was sent to a rehab facility. After he came home home from rehab, an In Home Healthcare Nurse came to check on him &amp; called 911 to have an ambulance come &amp; take him back to the hospital. After that lengthy hospital stay, he was sent back to rehab. Approximately, 3-4 days later they sent him home. Turns out Medicare has a clause stating they'll only pay for visits that are a minimum of 60 days apart! So, Daddy was sent home again! Not too long after that, daddy was admitted to the hospital again. He had sepsis, was hypotensive, had pneumonia, a urinary tract infection &amp; was positive for Covid!! I honestly thought we were gonna lose him this time. I can't even begin to tell you how much all of this has taken a toll on them financially, emotionally, psychologically &amp; physically. The medical bills are so out of control. Since daddy can't go back into rehab due to cost he is at home. Mom is his caretaker 24/7. She does get a little bit of relief 2-3 days a week when Home Health comes to check his vitals, PICC line, wounds, etc. Daddy is not mobile at all. This is a lot &amp; the bills are piling up!! If you can find it in your heart to help them out by donating, any amount is greatly appreciated!!!
