Please help my parents and sister….

1/11/22 Our hearts are aching. Dad allowed his family to remove his DNR. He is now intubated. We thank him for allowing us this one last chance tonight to see if this intervention will help. His disease has progressed significantly. Many immediate family were all there in the room as he called out the names of so many people. He wants us to let know how much he loves everyone. Be well and cherish all you do with your family and friends because you never know when you might need to father strength from those memories.

Old post - Shortly after celebrating our parents, Mick and Chris Etter’s 50th Anniversary, they both

came down with severe COVID-19. Mom is staying at Anne & Sean’s house for single floor living accommodation to better facilitate her recovery.

Dad is fighting very hard for his life. It is extremely exhausting emotionally and physically for my sister. The Hospital has one designated Visitor for Covid positive patients. My sister Anne is filling this role. She has provided care to dad 24/7. This means she is not working her normal work week. We need your help to keep their household running so she can have this stressor off her mind. Dad wants her there to protect and challenge him when things are scary. Many people ask how can they help? This is the only idea I can come up with. Together, let’s gather funds to cover her weekly income. She will be out at a minimum of 2 weeks. All contributions are greatly appreciated and ultimately keeping Anne at bedside with dad as they fight together for his life.
