Hi everyone,

This is Poppy — our sweet, brave, and endlessly loving 9-year-old dachshund. Poppy has filled our lives with joy, cuddles, and so much love over the years. She’s not just a pet — she’s truly part of the family.

Sadly, Poppy has been battling IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) — a painful and debilitating spinal condition that affects many small breeds, especially dachshunds. She had her first surgery a while ago, which helped her regain her mobility and quality of life. We were so hopeful that would be the end of it.

But heartbreakingly, Poppy has now suffered a second disc rupture and is in urgent need of another surgery.

The cost of this second surgery is more than we can manage alone. We’ve already stretched ourselves for her first treatment, and while we’re doing everything we can, we’ve reached the point where we need to ask for help.Poppy still has so much life and love in her she deserves the chance to walk and play again.The sooner we can raise the funds, the better her chances of full recovery.
