Please help my friend become an electrician

Dear friends,

I'm asking you to help a very dear young friend of mine achieve their dream of becoming an electrician.  This 21-year old has been working to support themselves and their siblings since they were 12 years old.  Even at just 21 years old, my friend's body is starting to break down from 9 years working in construction, loading trucks in a lumber yard, and doing odd jobs like splitting wood on the weekends. 

The problem?  An electrical apprenticeship pays $9 an hour. It is a huge pay cut from their current $13 an hour.   I am supporting my friend as much as I can and now I'm asking you to help if you can.  I promise you that once my friend gets on their feet they are the kind of person who will pass the kindness along to others in the community.
