Please help my family, as I prepare for sudden surgery.

My name is John, Insurance adjuster by trade. I live with my fiance, and three children ages 1, 4, and 8. before the youngest was born, I undergoed lumbar spine surgery in order to correct an injury with my discs so I would be good for taking care of a newborn. fast forward 2 years later, I just found out that I need quick surgery to correct hardware that had been implanted as the first surgery apparently was not successful. this last year has been challenging, pushing through immense amounts of pain to take care of my children and be there for my family and do the things I have to do. but it's been limiting, and I pray that I finally am going to be fixed.

in 4 weeks, I will undergo a second surgery, more in depth than the first and it will come with the high price tag of 6 to 8 weeks recovery. for a portion of that my better half, my fiance, will be stuck not only caring for me but also for the kids and it is a taxing time. I have set up this fundraiser in hopes that I can raise a little bit not for me, but for my family to make life a little bit easier during the next couple months. once recovering I will be on short-term disability, only 60% of my income. during this time in limbo, our lives were complicated once again when my fiance's health took an unexpected turn. it's been a turbulent month, and we can only take it day by day.
