Hi,

I’ve started this go fund me in aid of my dad, he’s recently found himself in a very unfortunate situation, he was massively taken advantage of recently which has ultimately resulted in him having to leave his home, I have obviously given him someone to stay but the reality is I cannot do this long term.

I have a 1 bed small flat and honestly, I am struggling to keep myself afloat let alone another adult and dog, I shouldn’t even have the dog here but I just don’t want to have to make him say good bye to his dog as well. I just have no idea what I’m going to do, feeding us all is already becoming a struggle.

my dad also needs to be close to my little brother who is 2 hours away from me, he’s now went from seeing him daily to being a 2 hour drive away. We are doing our best to get help from council but they’re useless, he’s just not a priority to them and couldn’t care less if he was sleeping outside or not.

it absolutely breaks my heart to see my dad in such a rubbish position and I’d be eternally grateful if we could change that. He really needs to raise enough money for a 1st months rent and deposit, once he’s in somewhere he can get help with rent until he can sort a new job out again.

he just needs help starting up, and getting the essentials, he had to leave so many things as he couldn’t afford to pay a removal to bring it down and unfortunately neither could I.

so we are raising funds for first months rent, deposit and the essentials he will need for the home, his son lives in Surrey and he needs to be close to there, he’s lived in that area for over 10 years and the rental prices are very high, all funds will be accounted for and we will update with how the money is spent throughout the process.

I hate asking people for help and if it wasn’t my dad I never would but Id do anything to see him at peace in a home he’s comfortable.
