My very close friend Mariana just had a baby by C-section on August 26 this year. She's 32 years old.
She had headaches on Saturday (6 days after delivery) and went to emergency room, they sent her home after finding nothing.
She came back to emergency room on Monday with headaches and high blood pressure and they had to operate to remove the clot in the brain.
She can't breathe on her own yet and doctors keep her sedated because when she wakes up she becomes agitated and her blood pressure spikes. They don't know what recovery will look like yet, but they do say that it will take a long time. They will know more once she's conscious and breathing on her own.
She's the most incredible, loving, kind and positive person one could ever meet and she now has multiple challenges ahead of her and her lovely baby girl.
She is originally from Moldova, now an American citizen. She's in the process of applying for her husband's green card to stay in the US. She has no family in this country.
She's extremely strong willed and independent and psychologically it is very hard for her not to be this way.
We would want her to wake up and see that there are so many wonderful people who care about her, her recovery and her new baby girl. We want her to know that she will have the means to recover and support her little one.
