my name is Emily. I have started this account in hopes to help my best friend. Back in May, my best friend was diagnosed with stage 2 metastatic breast cancer at only 36 years old. She has 2 young daughters and is currently unable to work do to many different contributing factors. I am a nurse and brought her and the girls into our home to care for her/them after her surgery in June but it has been nothing but an uphill battle for her since. She is struggling through a divorce and her and her girls have been through WAY more trauma and heart ache than anyone should ever have to endure. My fiancé and I have been and are helping her as much as we possibly can financially. But even with applying for state aide/disability she has been continuously denied and has almost zero help or income. Her daughters have a birthday one week apart and she has no money to her name to even be able to afford birthdays presents for them, let alone have a birthday party. I am going to buy some burgers and hot dogs and decorations and plan on surprising her and them at a local beach to have a fun and cheap birthday party. All I am asking is just help with THIS part of it. There’s many medical bills and more procedures to come, but I will do my best to guide her across that bridge when we get to it. She has suffered so much the past 2 years and I know it would take at least one thing off her plate if I(WE) could help by raising a little extra money for gifts to throw the girls a birthday party! If you can help even just a little, any would be so appreciated and ONLY going towards the girls birthday gifts. If anyone in the world is deserving of all the love and good this world has to offer, it is her and those babies. She is too stubborn and proud to ask anyone for help.. but the fact of the matter is, she has NO family outside of her 2 siblings(who also help as much as they can). Please help any way if possible and if you know her or I personally, I beg you not to tell her before I talk to her. Thank you so much in advance ❤️
