Please Help My Aunt Sue Keep Her Home!
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
This is not in my wheelhouse to do something like a GoFundMe, but this is my last resort to turn to.
I'd like to introduce my Aunt Sue. She is 75 years young, as you can see in the picture (she was 73 when we took her to DisneyWorld in '22).
She is about to lose the home she purchased a few years ago. I have been trying to help her, but I am out of resources trying to help family. I love her dearly, and I don't want to see her lose her home, but I don't have anywhere else to turn.
Her son lives with her, and he has been sharing expenses as she only has a small SS check each month. However, he lost his job back in June and due to his medical issues, he has not been able to find employment. He is diligently searching and has gone on several interviews with no success. They have fallen behind in mortgage payments due to loss of income. If he were still employed, I know I wouldn't be here today, asking for help.
I know this is a bad time of year to have to ask friends and acquaintances for monetary help, but every agency they have reached out to have no more funds for the year or they can't help with mortgages.
If the spirit of the season speaks to you and inspires you to help in any way you can, I would be eternally grateful, and I speak for my aunt and cousin as well.
Thank you for reading this. If you can't help financially, please consider sharing the link. It's never a good time to know you are on borrowed time in your home, but the holiday season definitely isn't a good time.
Sincerely, Jeanne Lacy
