Hi everyone,

Hope all is well. My name is Ottielie Acuna. Back in May of 2023 I became very ill. My roommate found me unconscious in my bedroom and called 911 and I was rushed to St. Louise Hospital in Gilroy where I live. I had fallen into a coma for two weeks due to Sepsis. Which is a life threatening infection that damages your organs, causing them to fail and even leading to death in some unfortunate instances. Gangrene had set in which is a bacterial infection that cuts off circulation and blood flow to your organs. Due to this, my hands and legs above the knees were amputated. Thank GOD I am still alive and doing well. With that being said I am trying to raise money to help with the cost of being in a Skilled Nursing Facility. I need to be able to stay here in order to get the twenty four care that I will be in need of for the rest of my life. It’s still a good life. No matter what your condition is, you have to make your life matter. Because you still and always will matter to someone in this world. Thank you so much for listening to my life as it is now.
