Please help Melinda Suzy Simmons

Hello!  My name is Denise Barret.  I'm friends with Melissa Suzy Simmons.  Suzy was my daughter's speech therapist years ago.  She has helped many children over the years.  She has been fighting cancer since January 2017.  She has been going through very difficult times lately and could use financial support.  Please read her story below.

As many of you know, I have been fighting a battle with multiple myeloma cancer since January of 2017.  I have undergone intensive chemotherapy and am now being evaluated for radiation as well as a new form of chemotherapy.  This past year has brought multiple challenges.  I currently reside in a nursing home due to complications and weakness in my legs.
The Medicaid waiver program I need is not available until May, and I need help financially covering my expenses for March 19 to May 01, 2018.  I would greatly appreciate any help that you feel led to give me.
This journey has taught me so much, and my faith has grown tremendously as I have trusted the Lord for healing.
