Please help me to fulfil a wish

I have always donated to go fund me causes that touch my heart.. and now I am calling on the power of social media and people's good nature to do the same for me... the aim of this is to fulfil a wish of my mums that she has had for the past 19 years (the last time she went away), and that is to return to the place she loves most in the world.. New York City.

Whilst being nostalgic on Christmas Eve she revealed this dream to me and my mind went into 'overdrive' thinking about how I could make this a reality.. this is why....

Her health has not been the best in recent years and is declining still (I have chosen to keep this private - mainly as a way to deal with/process this change myself, but mainly because I dont want the attention or sympathy, but now I have to be honest).

My mums conditions are terminal - although we do not know what that means in terms of what time there is left for her... it could be 1 month.. it could be years!!

My mum was diagnosed with 2 separate conditions.. one called Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), this affects her heart rate which has resulted in multiple hospital stays, countless procedures and having to have her heart stopped and started again to reset and regulate it on more than one occasion.

The other is advanced stage 4 COPD (also known as the end stage), this affects her lungs, her capacity to breath (she is constantly struggling for breath) & her ability to complete simple daily tasks, I have to do most things for her now.

Both of these conditions mean that she will be on daily medications for the rest of her life, her breathing capabilities will continue to decline and her heart rate could cause another reset - even with the use of oxygen. This will be the case until we reach the point that either one of them effectively gives up, most likely through lung or heart failure.

I try to remain optimistic - but the truth is, we just don't know when, or how this ends and watching her progressively get worse, to the point of having to recently retire early due to not physically being able to work in the last year, has made me think that she may not be at my wedding in 2025!

Despite the fact that we do not knoe how long she has.. we do know that her quality of life is decreasing eveyday. I want to make this wish come true while she is able to fly comfortably and is well enough to walk around - but I am unable to do it alone.. this is where the generosity of others comes into play. This is not about 'a holiday with my mum', this is about being able to fulfil a wish that is so close to her heart and something that, in her words 'she wants to do before she goes'.

Please help me to give my mum some memories that she can cherish for however long she remains with me. Thank you.
