<div>So, what would you guys do if your council refused to give you a service that you pay for with your council tax? This is what i am facing and its now but been escalated way beyond my control and i need help.

<div>I have asked for 2 years for recycling bins or bags which they refused to give a block of 12 flats, even though the block next door gets them, citing 'we're too far away from the main road' and 'its the property management who is responsible!' So I started using a bin that was close by until they started locking it. I put 2 clear bags of recycling next to the bin for pick up and someone else (I don't know who) put a few bin bags on top. They found evidence in the recycling bag leading to me and decided that I had put it all there. Result-a £600 fine for something that should be included in the services that my council tax pays for, reduced later to £200, which is still unfair, but I paid it anyway.
