Please Help Me Fight Cancer Again

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

My name is Héctor, and I never thought I would have to write these words again — but my cancer is back. After three years in remission, my Multiple Myeloma has returned. The doctors want to start treatment as soon as possible, and I know this will be another long and painful journey.

The first time I faced this disease, I lost so much — my health, my strength, and even my ability to work. I went through an emergency femur replacement after a fracture caused by the cancer. The surgery was complicated, and I’ve lived with daily pain ever since. But I fought hard, believing I had finally overcome it.

Now I’m being told I must fight again… and honestly, I’m scared. I have to step away from work once more, and without income, it’s impossible to keep up with bills, medical costs, and the care I’ll need. My wife and I are trying our best to stay strong, but this has become more than we can carry alone.
