Help Mckenzie’s Family with their devastating loss

McKenzie Mae Kinley, the spunky 10 year old red head from Loomis, CA was taken far to early from us on July 14th, 2019. It was a hot day in Sacramento and McKenzie, like any other 10 year old would, wanted to go swimming. The pool ended up electrocuting McKenzie causing her to pass away just a few moments later.
We are completely shaken and in shock that this could even happen and to take a beautiful little girls life away is unimaginable. She was the light of everyone’s lives around her. Her bright personality, silly attitude, intelligence and beauty inside and out contributed so much to the happiness of her family and friends. She was brave. She was bullied in school for her beautiful red hair but that never stopped her from being confident and having fun with her friends and family. Her mother is a single mom and McKenzie was her entire world. She decided to go back to school to give McKenzie a better life and she graduated nursing school last month. Mckenzie’s mother is extremely broken and devastated. No one is ever prepared to loose their child. Mckenzie and her cousin Joshua, 6 years old, were inseparable. She played with him, taught him new things and was always there for him. McKenzie was Joshua’s best friend. Mckenzie’s three sisters and brother are completely heartbroken by this tragedy and don’t even know where to start picking up the pieces.
I am trying to help her mother and her family in the most difficult time they will ever experience. Although money can never replace someone, it will help Mckenzie’s mom with funeral costs and financial support through this extreme hardship.
This should have never happened- she was taken far too soon and was never given a chance to really show the world what she could do with it. She was only ten years old and she shined so bright.
