Please help me get Matua home

Hello. I’m Ellie and this is my baby boy Matua.
Matua is currently in intensive care after getting bitten by an eastern brown snake in our backyard on Thursday night. Although Matua is still paralysed and can barely move (apart from some slight movement in his head and rear legs), he is progressing slightly day by day and all his tests are coming back great.
As we all know vet bills can be outrageously expensive and this is going to be a massive struggle for me as I am only 20 years old and only work a normal job, to try and rummage together the money that it will cost for me to take Matua home. At this point and time my bill is up to $3500, and it is an extra $500 each night he stays at the vet. The nurses won’t let Matua leave until he is strong enough to walk but they also can’t put a time on his healing process either which makes it a little bit scary.
It would mean the absolute world to me if I could raise even a 1/4 of his vet bill, it would help me out incredibly.
