Please help Mason rebuild his home

Donation protected
Hello, I am asking for everyone who takes the time to read this, help my friend Mason Dixon try to rebuild his life.
Sadly, we were informed this morning, October 4, 2021, that while his fire crew (Mason included), were fighting the Ptarmigan wildfire in Silverthorne, CO, Mason’s home in Nevada, burned to the ground overnight. Along with all of his personal belongings, photo’s, memories, and worst of all, his 2 beloved dogs including 2 of his father’s dog’s that were staying overnight, were sadly, unable to escape the blaze. The Irony and poor timing of this tragedy is unbelievable considering after battling wildfires since the beginning of the summer, the crew has just 4 days left before we go offline for the year and start layoffs. Had this happened a week later, Mason would have been home to either prevent it altogether, or at-least would have been able to let his pup’s escape.
As many of you wild-land fire guys know, and to inform those of you who do not know, winter can be challenging to find work, balance bills/finances, and work to get ready, both mentally and physically, for the next fire season. I ask that because of Mason’s sacrifices and great losses, that we all work together to make sure that the one thing Mason doesn’t have to dwell on, this off season, is finances. He only purchased his home 9 months prior to this occurring, and the home is not paid off.
Given, that his earning’s from this fire season will almost all be going straight to this incident, the goal is to raise at-least $20,000. Any more or any less would still be greatly appreciated. $20,000 sounds like a lot, but if we all work together, I am confident that we can reach our goal. Please don’t count on the next person that reads this, for a donation, just take the 5 minutes and do what you can. Whether it be 50 cents or 50 dollars, it will add up. Maybe skip buying that coffee this morning and donate that small amount to seriously impact someone’s life in a positive way. If you cannot skip the coffee this morning, or simply cannot donate, please re-share so we can meet this goal as fast as possible.
Mason faces a long road in rebuilding his home, restoring his belonging’s, and dealing with the grief of knowing his beloved dogs are not there to greet him at the end of a long fire season.

Thank you all for your support, Mason Needs it
