Please Help Lorenzo and His Family

Donation protected
My name is Dan and I am the host of Youtube's "Dan's Vlog". I would like to take a moment to introduce you to my good friend and neighbor Lorenzo.

Lorenzo is the hardest working man I ever met. He not only works full time for the city  doing grounds maintenance, he also operates a full time lawn care business. When I say full time, I mean FULL TIME! He used to cut grass as a side hustle for a little extra income for his family but recently his wife was diagnosed with ESRD  End Stage Renal Disease that required her to leave her job and go though multiple surgeries to include a kidney transplant as recently as June 5 2020. Lorenzo stepped up to the plate and took his side hustle lawn care business and grew it to replace his wife's lost wages and to help pay for her medical procedures. After working outside in the southern heat all day for the city, Lorenzo would grab his trailer and work long into the night mowing his customer's lawns. Truly amazing. Thankfully his wife is expected to make a full recovery but she is considered high risk for the Covid-19 Virus and remains out of work.   I could not imagine how hard this must be on their family.

This morning I received a phone call at 7 am from Lorenzo. I knew something had to be wrong for him to call me at this early hour. I was not mistaken and I heard the following: "Dan, someone stole all my equipment", "someone stole my trailer". I didn't know what to say at first but I knew this was devastating for anyone in our business and quickly realized how devastating this is to my friend, personally.  A lump in my throat formed and I knew in my heart I had to do something to help. Of course, we discussed the usual; police reports, video evidence from the storage yard etc.  Being Dan, I tried my best to give him a glimmer of hope but I could tell panic and despair was beginning to set in.

The police gave Lorenzo a photo of the man who stole his trailer and a description of the vehicle used. It was a green Ford Explorer and is suspected in multiple trailer thefts in our area. The thief beat the storage lot's security measures by leasing a storage unit.  He paid cash, used a fake ID and was granted access to the drive through security gate. The thief used his access code and targeted Lorenzo's beautiful red trailer full of all his equipment.   You know the trailer... it's the red one I hung the weedeater racks in.  Here is the video:  https://youtu.be/l9YdWYi36Gg

In total, the thief got away with more than just some equipment to sell, he stole Lorenzo's way of supporting his family while his wife recovers.   The timing could not be any worse as we are entering the last 60 days of the mowing season. Lorenzo needs to continue working his business and saving money to help his family make it through Winter and the holiday season.  Lorenzo is going to need our help in order to stay above water. I am throwing in for him, will you please help Lorenzo and his family by donating right now whatever you can as quickly as possible. Time is not on his side as we will begin to see his lawn service clients begin to find other lawn service companies in order to keep their properties maintained.  Together, we can help a man who has been the husband and father we all know to be the pillars in our communities. Please donate and share Lorenzo's story with your friends and let's do something incredible... right now!
