Please help Layla get her service dog

Good morning/ good evening family and friends,

My daughter had been diagnosed with P.O.T.S in 2016 (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which causes her to constantly be dizzy and it causes her faint. When she faints, she has no recollection of what has happened, most of the time she can barely feel it coming on. She has had multiple concussions and I’m concerned for her safety at this point. We’ve tried different medication treatments, but the medication isn’t necessarily doing what the doctor wants it to do. She also has EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) which makes her body have a lot more laxity in her joints. She has some kind of pain every day. Her doctor, which is a specialist at VCU, has recommended to get a service dog, which will alert her when something is going wrong. We’ve tried to hold off on getting the service dog but with her about to go to school and having more independence we’d like to make her feel herself again. He has also recommended we go to Service Dogs of Virginia. We ask of the family and friends for some donation toward getting the service dog. The service dog and stay there will cost about $2,000. We're hoping to be able to get her service dog by the new year at least. We sincerely ask for your help anyway you can.
