Please help Kerri fight Lymphoma.....

Hey there,

I’m Katrina and I’m fundraising on behalf of my ever so generous Sister-in-law, Kerri. In August this year Kerri's world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkin Lymphoma. What started as a persistent chest infection, some difficulty swallowing and some general fatigue turned out to be a large mass growing in her abdominal cavity and another on her neck. She has been set on a never ending journey of scans and biopsy's to try and workout what type of Non-Hodgkins this nasty beast is. Kerri is still waiting results, however her specialists have enough answers to say it is Stage 3 and aggressive. My heart sank! The doctors need to hit it hard with chemotherapy.

Kerri is undergoing intensive chemo, five days of treatment at a time, before returning home for two weeks to rest up and recuperate. We believe she will require roughly six to eight rounds. It’s a tough and long road ahead, but she’s such a strong women and has an amazing support group around her.

(UNFORTUNATELY, THIS TREATMENT PLAN HAS BEEN CHANGED. KERRI HAS BEEN IN HOSPITAL UNDERGOING INTENSIVE CHEMO FOR 17 DAYS STRAIGHT. THE TREATMENT PLAN EVOLVES DAILY.)

Kerri is such a fun loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Auntie, Work Colleague and Friend. She is always putting others before herself. Your donations will help to provide care and comfort during Kerri’s treatment and recovery and to send some much needed positive vibes her way. They will also go towards throwing a big party once all of this is over... Everyone is invited!

We are also going to donate a percentage to Lymphoma Australia to help fight this cruel disease.
