Please help Kat and her son relocate

This Gofund me is for my best friend of over 20 years Kat.

She was recently pumping gas at a gas station when a man in a ski mask approached her, pulling out a gun and forcing her back into her vehicle. He got in and drove around until finding a place to stop. He took her credit cards and then at gunpoint he forced her to do sexual acts. Katie noticed the car doors were unlocked, and decided to take a chance and jumped out of the car. She ran until she reached a house and asked for help.

There are no words for the physical, emotional and mental trauma this has caused her. The gas station she was kidnapped from is right in her neighborhood. The apartment she currently lives in does not have a parking lot and she has to park on the street and will have to walk a few blocks back to her apartment at night everyday. She no longer feels she or her children are safe in her apartment or city. Not only does she have to try and cope mentally while raising her kids, she is also struggling financially. Katie relies solely on her car to make money as she does Instacart everyday to provide for her kids, and she has been unable to work for several days because her car is still in police custody as evidence.

She is now trying to relocate to a suburb out of the city. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All contributions would go towards a new lease, moving costs and the cost of therapy to heal through this tough time.
