Please Help Jordan During This Difficult Time

On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Jordan was an innocent by-stander of gun violence which caused him to be rushed to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound that lodged in his head between his eye and his ear.
Jordan is one of DSTRKT's very own well-loved Bartender's. He is a one of the most selfless souls you could ever meet who is currently fighting to recover from this traumatic experience. He will have to endure many months of treatments and expensive medical costs before he is capable of getting back on his own two feet and start working again.
His generosity has touched the lives of every community he has been a part of; through his dedication as a youth worship leader, his service work with the elderly, his volunteer work with several nonprofit organizations, continuing on his mother’s art business while she has been ill and through his more recent work mentoring youth from Roberto Clemente High School.
Jordan moved to Humboldt Park to be closer to his mother as he helps her recover from a debilitating brain surgery, she suffered just one year ago and to be closer to her medical appointments. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Jordan knows how much of a blessing he is to all those around him. He lights up every room he goes into with his smile, energy, positivity, and genuine care for others.
Right now, Jordan is trying to heal from an incredibly traumatic experience, which he survived through the grace of God. He is truly loved and cherished deeply by his family, friends and community. His kindness and outgoing personality help everyone around him feel welcomed.
