<div>Anyone who knows Johnny knows his talent, his smile, his friendliness, and also, his unsteady gait. Uneasy on his feet, Johnny was misdiagnosed with neuropathy a few years ago, and unfortunately, he was told it was a version that had no cure. But recently, emboldened by a friend who suggested the reason might be quite different, Johnny visited the best neurologist in the region and one of Mexico's Top Doctors: the fabulous Dr. Gerardo Salvador Lechuga Rodríguez in Queretaro.

<div>After a series of scans, Johnny was diagnosed with a cyst the size of a lemon on his cerebellum that has been growing for years. It has been increasingly pushing against the rest of his brain, but if removed, his cerebellum has space to expand back to its normal size, which will greatly affect his mobility and overall health.

<div>It's truly amazing Johnny has been able to maintain knowledge of over 4,000 songs from memory, learn even more every day, run a business, mentor multiple local artists and singers, host fundraisers and special events, raise much-needed funds for orphans and animals, galavant around San Miguel saying hi to his friends and fans, AND own and/or foster, on average, seven dogs.

<div>Johnny has helped all of us have a wonderful, musical, comedic, entertaining time constantly while also offering full-time jobs to multiple people and a space to the many working musicians in this town and beyond.
