Please help Joe Gillette’s family

Hi everyone,

If you know Joe, you know that any fundraiser he is associated with is a huge success. Unfortunately, now the time has come where Joe and his family are in need of a wildly successful fundraiser. As many of you are aware, Joe was diagnosed with Kidney cancer which has progressed and spread to his brain, lungs, stomach and other areas. On October 4th, he underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor and unfortunately, there were several complications, and he again went under the knife to remove a second brain tumor all in all resulting In a five weeklong stay in the neurological intensive care unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Joe is now at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU, and while he is making progress every day, the cancer is very aggressive, and he has a long journey ahead. Joe's family has been by his side every single day and they are motivated to see Him through this recovery. Among many other things, Joe will need to undergo several rounds of immunotherapy and radiation for the cancer in other areas of his body. We have started this fundraiser in order to help the family with the many past, present, and future medical and associated expenses. Let us help to allow Joe's family to devote all of their love, energy and time to Joe by helping them economically with our support. Joe is one of the strongest people we know, and he has given strength to an army of supporters over the years. Now we are asking his army to help him and his family in this time of need.
