Please help Jay Snoddon compete in Japan
The Prokick Gym, Belfast are planning a once in a life time trip for three of the gym’s teenagers to Japan. The team will travel across Japan experiencing top class training, with their week long trip climaxing by taking part in an official K-1 international kickboxing tournament in Osaka.
One of the lucky Prokick gym members chosen to attend this tournament is 16 year-old Jay Snoddon from Dundonald.
Jay has been training at the ProKick Gym for three years and has already travelled to compete in Switzerland at the world Martial Art Games, Malta, England, in the Republic of Ireland to name but a few. Jay is currently the Irish kickboxing Cadet Champion, and a Gold winner at the WKN British Open championships with the potential to achieve even more success within the sport. Jay is now set to representing Northern Ireland on the Global stage while in Japan, he just needs a little help from you.
As an amateur fighter there is no financial or government assistance and it is up to our club, the competitors, friends and family to raise the necessary funds to enable Jay to take part and compete.
The cost of this 8 day trip is £2900.00. This is to pay for:
Return flights
Accommodation
Food
Travel throughout Japan
Competition training in multiple gyms in Tokyo, Nagoya, Kumamoto and competing in Osaka.
Entrance fees to tournament
Official KI equipment
We would kindly ask if you would be willing to donate or sponsor Jay to help him participate in this trip. Any voluntary donation would be gratefully appreciated, as you will become a vital part of making this trip for Jay possible.
