<div>At 5:00 am on July 4th, their world was turned upside down when a sudden flood overtook their home near Kerrville, TX. In just five minutes, the water rose so quickly that Jack and Jennifer barely escaped with their two dogs, crawling out a window and clinging to their porch’s rock wall as the water reached their shoulders. They spent nearly an hour in the rising floodwaters, holding onto each other and their pets, while tragedy struck their neighborhood and two neighbors lost their lives.

<div>Jack and Jennifer lost everything—their home, all their belongings, and the entire stock and equipment for their outdoor furniture business. For decades, they have been the first to help anyone in need, always going above and beyond for friends, neighbors, and customers. Now, they are the ones who need support. Even now, a displaced dog walked up to Jennifer and she took that baby to be cared for and not left alone.
