<div>Hello, my name is Richard and as some of you may know, I have a few medical issues I've been dealing with for some time. I was born with one kidney and didn't find out until about the age of 16 when a typical high school physical showed I had high blood pressure. After more testing, we also learned I had a blockage in my ureter (the tube that goes from the kidney to the bladder). I had the blockage removed and was told I wouldn't need a kidney transplant until later in life. As insurance changed, so did doctors. I was now about 18, and these new doctors said I needed one sooner. I was blessed with receiving one from my mom at age 19. This kidney only lasted a few years, and I was getting ready for dialysis. After being on the machine for about 6 years, again I was blessed with my sister giving me one. This kidney was a better match and lasted me for 20 years. During this time, I was also diagnosed with bladder cancer. Fast-forward to today, I now require dialysis again and have COPD along with a few other things. I've been out of work with medical issues, seeing I'm unable to work. Now that I have exhausted all resources from work, I'm no longer able to pay any medical <strong>bills or rent. I am waiting on social security disability to make their decision.</strong>
