I would like to share my story with you.
I was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 2015 after having my beautiful adorable daughter Lana. I went for my post partum check up and found out I have cervical cancer. My whole word just fell apart inside me, how is this possible? Finally getting married after so many years of being alone and raising my first daughter Linda alone , who is now 21 years old and gave me 2 beautiful granddaughters. I was devastated, why is this happening when my older daughter needs me the most and my brand new daughter would need me so much.
I was told I have to have surgery and hopefully it will all be removed, than I can have my life back. I had a hysterectomy in 2016 August. Took me a few months to recover , but I felt I was getting better. I decided to take a trip back home in April 2017 to see my Dad and visit a clinic in Hungary called the Gerson clinic. This is a alternative medicine clinic where they cleanse your body and reboot your whole system where cancer cannot survive. Unfortunately as soon as we got to Hungary I ended up in bed with a bad stomach pain thinking its a stomach flu. After 4 days in bed suffering with crucial pain, vomiting and weakness we decided to go to the hospital where they hospitalized me right away to get to the bottom of what is causing this crucial pain. My little daughter and my twin sister and nephew was with me, thank God my sister was able to look after my daughter. So, while on vacation spending it in the hospital I was told cancer is back and is very aggressive with a tumour on the pelvic bone and cancer already spread to few lymph nodes and to my stomach. I was told I need to get back to Canada to get treatment right away. Flew straight from the hospital back to Canada and was hospitalized right away because the tumour grew so big it blocked the intestines and had to have emergency surgery to bypass the tumour. It took 1 month in the hospital to get strong enough to start walking, by this time I have lost 40lbs and was unable to walk from the weakness and being in bed for a whole month. They told me this type of cancer is not operable, they can only try chemo to try to shrink the tumour, but the doctors asked me to let my family know there is not much hope unfortunately. Since June 2017 they have been trying to start chemo , they were able to do 1 treatment but I keep getting complications and getting hospitalized because of it. Chemo is being delayed and causing more spreading of the cancer. I am very frightened. Right now I have a drain in my stomach as there is an infection on the tumour and they do not know whats causing it. It needs to drain as it is life threatening if it keeps collecting inside. I have been hospitalized for another week because of it. They discharged me home finally with oral antibiotics and we are waiting for the infection to clear before they can continue chemo therapy. I have looked into treatment , which I found in Germany where they do direct chemo right into the tumour and it does not go through the whole body where all the organs are attacked and damaged. This treatment is $25,000 for 1 treatment and I was told I needed 2 treatments since it already spread to other parts of my body. I am very desperate to look for other treatments, because I would like to be around for a few more years to raise my 2 year old precious daughter, and be around for my daughter and grandchildren and also my twin sister who is helping me so much and wouldn’t be able to do this without her help. I know that everyone has their time, but I would like to do every possible thing to try to get better before I would give up. I would like to ask for your help!!!
