Please help Grey get through Chemotherapy

Hi everyone, 

It is with a very heavy heart that I am asking you for help. My sister-in-law's cat, Grey, was diagnosed with Lymphoma on December 29, 2020. She took him in for a regular check-up appointment and the vet found a large mass that was pressuring his organs. They scheduled his ultrasound for December 27, 2020 to see if the mass could be identified but the vet decided it would be best to have a surgery to see exactly what was going on. At this point, we were all hoping it was just a cyst removal surgery. The surgery took place on the 29th and this was when the vet identified that the large mass was actually Grey's kidney that was enlarged to the size of a grapefruit from cancer. During the surgery, the vet also found that the cancer has spread to his intestine and other parts nearby. His kidney was removed at this surgery and he remains hospitalized. The best treatment plan for Grey right now is 26 weeks of chemotherapy. So far, all treatments including his current hospitalization have been paid for out of pocket from money we were able to gather, but we no longer have the amount needed for chemotherapy. We were told that chemotherapy starts off at $1,500 and any other treatment needed would be additional. The vet believes it is worth fighting for him because he is a young cat and fast growing lymphoma can respond just as fast to chemotherapy. We are desperately asking for your help and any donation will be a tremendous blessing. He is an extremely loving and affectionate cat. This illness has really taken a toll on us because we know that he should have a long and healthy life. It hurts to see him going through this and we just want to be able to provide for him through it all.
