 On July 22nd around 9:00 PM, our beloved Gopal Basnet, 47 was crossing the road when he was struck by a car. In that instant, everything changed for him and his family.

</div>

<div>
 He suffered severe head trauma, internal brain bleeding, and three broken ribs and was rushed to Highland Hospital in Oakland in critical condition. For 10 days, he was on a ventilator, fighting for his life while his family prayed for hope.

</div>

 <br />

<div>
 After those 10 difficult days, he was taken off the ventilator and is now in the ICU, still in critical care and still fighting every day. His condition remains fragile, but he is holding on.

</div>

 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Gopal is a loving husband and devoted father of two young daughters. His wife waits by his side, and his children are longing for their father to come home. Their lives have been turned into a painful waiting room filled with uncertainty and hope.

 Along with this emotional struggle, the family is facing a heavy financial burden from ICU care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and loss of income during this crisis.

<div>जुलाई २२ गते राति करिब ९:०० बजे, हाम्रा प्रिय ४७ वर्षीय गोपाल बस्नेत सडक पार गर्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। त्यही बेला उहाँलाई एउटा कारले ठक्कर दियो। त्यो एउटा क्षणले उहाँ र उहाँको परिवारको जीवन नै परिवर्तन गरिदियो।

<div> उहाँको टाउकोमा गम्भीर चोट लाग्नुका साथै मस्तिष्कभित्र रक्तस्राव भयो र तीनवटा करङ भाँचिए। उहाँलाई गम्भीर अवस्थामा तत्काल ओकल्यान्डस्थित Highland Hospital लगियो। जीवनका लागि संघर्ष गरिरहनुभएका गोपाललाई १० दिनसम्म भेन्टिलेटरमा राखिएको थियो, जबकि उहाँको परिवार आशाको प्रार्थना गर्दै उहाँको स्वास्थ्य सुधारको प्रतीक्षामा थियो।

<div>ती कठिन १० दिनपछि उहाँलाई भेन्टिलेटरबाट निकालिएको छ र अहिले उहाँ ICU मा उपचाररत हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको अवस्था अझै पनि गम्भीर छ र उहाँ प्रत्येक दिन जीवनका लागि संघर्ष गरिरहनुभएको छ। उहाँको अवस्था निकै नाजुक भए पनि उहाँले हिम्मत हार्नुभएको छैन।

<div>गोपाल एक मायालु श्रीमान् र आफ्ना दुई साना छोरीका समर्पित पिता हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँकी श्रीमती उहाँको छेउमै बसेर उहाँको स्वास्थ्य सुधारको प्रतीक्षा गरिरहनुभएको छ भने उहाँका छोरीहरू आफ्ना बुबा घर फर्किनुहुने दिनको प्रतीक्षामा छन्। उनीहरूको जीवन अहिले अनिश्चितता, पीडा र आशाले भरिएको कठिन प्रतीक्षामा परिणत भएको छ।
