Please Help George Crew

There are many days when I think I’m having the worst day possible. But if you take a peek through any newspaper or your friend’s Facebook posts, you realize that your flat tire or cable TV not working isn’t that bad. There are those who have a lot worse going on in their life. That is why I’m starting this Go Fund Me page for my niece’s husband George Crew and their family to help defer some medical expenses.
As many of you know, insurance does not cover all medical expenses, especially when there is extensive services needed. George was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in October of 2012. With Chemo, he was able to beat that. The following year he had a popliteal aneurysm on his right side. He had a stent put into his right leg, which failed, causing loss of blood flow to the foot, which caused nerve damage. A second stent failed as well, and he was no longer able to perform his regular job duties, forcing early retirement. In December, the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma came back. Treatment this time is much more extensive, with 2-3 rounds of Chemo along with stem cell transplantation. This will include hospital stays and extended doctor visits.
While George will take this battle on, he needs your help to alleviate some of the high medical bills that are coming his way, along with the unpaid time off Melissa will take to bring him to all the appointments. I’m hoping you can help, with a small donation, to help defer these costs. If you can’t, I fully understand. You have the utmost appreciation from George, Melissa, Lexi and Austin, and myself.
