Requesting donations for Lucy’s FIP treatment.

Hi, my name is Claudia and recently my
kitty and best friend Lucille was diagnosed with FIP.
We found Lucille as a kitten a couple years ago on the corner of 27th Avenue and Indian School. She’d been attacked by a group of adult cats and her face and paw needed immediate attention. She came right up to us as if trying to ask for help. We couldn’t leave her there, injured and cold so we brought her home and got her the medical care she needed. She was doing great up until late April when I noticed she wasn’t herself.
I’ll never forget the moment when our vet called with Lucille’s test results. He explained that she had FIP and continued to tell me that there was no cure. I had no clue what FIP was and everything was suddenly a blur. He basically apologized and informed me that she wasn’t going to live more than two weeks and that I should take her home and make her comfortable until she passed. I went back to the vet a couple days later for a second opinion but the results were the same. At this point he mentioned a treatment option (FIP Warriors) but it seemed far fetched and expensive only because I was forced to sell my business recently due to COVID and no longer have an income.

Nonetheless I am grateful that Lucille is still fighting and we will do whatever it takes to see her through this terrible ordeal. We kindly ask for a few donations for my baby girl’s treatment. We will be up on our feet soon enough and will return the help to a family who needs it. Thank you ❤️
