Please help ease the last of Samanthas life by securing a future for her partner and children………
Family History
Samantha is only 41 years old.
Sam has two older children Nathan (26) and Kyra (24) from when she was still a teenager and was with her previous partner for 18 years. After that relationship broke down she met Craig and in 11 years went on to have five more beautiful children, Libby 10, Lacey 9, Logan 5, Lexi 2 and new born baby Lilah just six weeks ago.
Sams Health
Just six weeks ago Sam felt happy and healthy after just giving birth to baby Lilah but after 2 weeks of having the baby Samantha thought she had a chest infection. After antibiotics didn’t work she was advised by the GP to go straight to a & e to have further tests.
Well within the space of 8 hours Sam was told she has blood clots on her lungs and was immediately started on life saving blood thinners. Following this she was given scans which detected two masses on her breast and lung. Biopsies were taken and unfortunately was given a diagnosis of lung cancer which has spread to the cavity wall in her chest. Further tests showed she has further diagnosis of cancer in the lymph nodes, blood, bones and her spine and it was terminal.
She has been given a life expectancy of under 12 months which we think has probably shortened since the detection of the spine cancer. She was advised to undergo Immunotherapy once a week for six weeks to see how well her body handles it. Unfortunately, just yesterday samantha was taken into hospital to start 5 days intense radiotherapy to her spine as she can hardly walk.
In just six short weeks Sams and her family’s life have been smashed to smithereens.
There are many many things Sam needs to get sorted and due to financial reasons and not having a lot of time left she cannot fulfill these things. We are asking if we could raise money so that Sam can spend her final time not having to worry about how her family are going to pay this, or where they going to live etc. She has been solely paying her mortgage since she was 23 years old and just two years ago cancelled her life insurance of £85.000 because she was short of cash and never thought she'd get so poorly and leave her babies so soon! ☹
