July of 2016, Dennis was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer. In August he started chemo and radiation at the same time. He had 2 cycles of chemo and 30 radiation treatments. In February 2017 a ct scan showed there was no malignant disease.
You can imagine how elated Dennis and his family were and celebrated.
On his 6 month ct scan nodules showed up in his lungs too small to biopsy so the Dr suggested monthly monitoring. In October, Dennis decides to schedule a pet scan in November.
At about the same time, he started having problems again and passing blood. A biopsy was done and showed that the rectal cancer has return as well as metastasized to his lungs.
The Dr will perform a lung biopsy on December 7th and shortly after treatment will begin again. We are still not certain if He will need surgery, but we are praying he won’t
Dennis could use a little extra money to see him through some tough times ahead.
