Please help David get a New Leg

David has been my friend since we attended Asbury together in the early 1990's. He had a leg prosthesis then, but he was able to be active. He used to be able to play 9 holes of golf, walking the course. Now his prosthesis is worn out.
In more recent years, he used to be able to play catch or toss a frisbee with his young daughter. She'd like him to shoot baskets with her now, but he can't even walk a hundred feet without support.
He can't sleep at night because of the pain in his leg from the strain put on it by his prosthesis. If you hold his current prosthesis up it swings back and forth showing that the knee is totally shot. It's dangerous for David to be on it. He could easily fall and hurt himself. His ability to exercise is extremely limited, and that's creating other health issues.
He needs a new leg prosthesis. When he tried it out, it felt much more secure.
The cost is about $60,000. Fortunately, his out of pocket cost is $5,000. Unfortunately, he doesn't have it. His parents have given him $1,500 toward it, and SRT Prosthetics and Orthotics has agreed to split the remaining $3,500 with him. This leaves David needing $1,750 to get his new leg and completely change his life.
