Please help Crunch.



Hi, I'm Megan Ward.  Crunch is our beloved rescue pit who was minutes away from being put down Last year. Someone dumped her and she was picked up by the NYPD and delivered to the ACC of Brooklyn. The ACC contacted Louies Legacy rescue group because they knew what an amazing dog she was and deserved a chance.   After being saved by Louie's Legacy, we were lucky enough to be able to adopt her. A few weeks after we adopted her,crunch was diagnosed with mammory cancer. She endured two surgeries to remove both mammory chains, she made an amazing recovery. Now crunch is facing a new hurdle,  she is in severe pain from neck IVDD. She has been seen for this  a few times at the wonderful AMC of NY,... today we rushed her back because she was in so much pain. We can't afford the MRI and they sent her home with more meds, a methadone injection, a fentanyl patch and orders for strict crate rest for the next month.  Crunch is not just a dog, she is our family. I hate asking for help, but we really need it. We need to raise the money to cover her impending MRI AND surgery. I know everyone has a 'story ' and their own financial difficulties, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate something, anything so crunch can get the care she needs.
