Please help my friend Cody O'Dell.
Cody and I have been friends and colleagues for almost 17 years now. A couple years after my business partner Saif Khan and I started our website design company, Toydrum, in 2003, we started looking for talented folks who could help us take our company to the next level. We found two recent graduates from TulsaTech; Cody and his friend Michelle, and hired them as freelancers.
I've worked with Cody on many projects, ever since. We've built eCommerce sites and other technology projects together. We built a magazine subscription content (video and audio) platform back before none of the major news organizations ever had anything like it.
Right now, Cody's in Houston, TX, staying in a day-to-day motel which is starting to get very expensive for him to stay in. We'd like to get him back to Tulsa, and help him find some transitional housing as well as services (perhaps food stamps or some other type of assistance), so that he can back on his feet again. The money would be used to get him a bus ticket back to Tulsa and some startup cash to get him settled in a place to stay.
Cody's an incredibly talented computer programmer and musician. He's fallen on some hard times and I would be very grateful if you can help me raise some funds to help him avoid ending up homeless. Every little bit counts. If you would rather contribute items (food, clothing, other items he might need), please feel free to reach out to me on social media and let me know. I can be reached at: https://about.me/cmoreno
I know it's the holiday season and everyone is asking for money, but this is my good friend and I really would love to see him get the help he needs and get back on his feet again.
