So the type of tumour Codas body is producing is a rare wild type. It can appear anywhere in his brain or spine at anytime. It is known by BRAF FUSION.
So we found in February 2024 that coda has a brain tumour. He underwent his first surgery 14/02/2024 to remove the tumour. This was very close to the brain stem. Then he suffered bacterial meningitis afterwards and was re-admitted to hospital. The first surgery caused coda to have weakness down his left side, tremor in his left hand and sometimes his left leg will lose feeling.
September 2024 coda had a follow up MRI Scan. The results came back that codas tumour was growing back at a fast pace. 13/11/2024 Coda had his second tumour removal. Again came out on top and smashed it.
February 2025 coda had another follow up MRI scan. The following week it confirmed codas brain tumour is back for a third time. Talks are now ongoing as for what treatment or medication coda can have to try stop this happening.
It's absolutely heartbreaking but coda continues to fight and smash down whatever hurdle is thrown at him. He's an absolute inspiration riding a tough journey bless him.
Now poor coda has to have a double operation and 3 months of intensive chemo so we would love you our loyal demma following to help us help coda and his family get through this
