I have recently lost my job and injured my back.

Usually I can do freelance work to pay my bills but the back injury makes it impossible to sit or stand for any amount of time. I will be going to physical therapy through our local low-cost hospital next week but will not be able to make my rent and other bills.

I can't imagine what it would be like to lose my apartment right now. Imagining barely being able to function while also moving all off my stuff is terrifying.

I have a job interview next week that I'm hoping to make if my back heals enough. It's hard enough trying to plan a great interview when I'm not sure if I'll be able to walk.

This is one of the darkest places I've ever been in. I'm normally pretty sure of myself but I have been humbled completely. And I've already been helped by some truly kind and loving people. But I'm forced by chance to ask for more.
