Please help Allie with her cancer battle

Allison Baumgartner has been dealing with an ongoing battle of thyroid cancer since she was first diagnosed in 2012. After she was first diagnosed, she had a thyroidectomy with radioactive iodine treatments shortly after.  A couple years later in 2014, Allie found out that the cancer returned for a second time. She then had another surgery to remove these new growths and she also had another round of the radioactive iodine. Fast forward to the end of March 2021,  Allie went in for a routine exam and unfortunately was told that the doctor found new multiple growths in her neck.  She has been diagnosed with a return of the cancer for a third time with a spread to some of the nearby lymph nodes. On May 7th she had surgery for the third time to remove these new growths. However, the plan for the rest of her treatment is uncertain.  She will continue to meet with her doctor to discuss the next steps for treatment of the recurring cancer. 
She will have to take time away from her job while she faces this new battle. I have known Allison since we were in the first grade and she has always been such a caring and giving person. She has a larger-than-life personality and a spirit that lightens up any room she walks in to. I just hope we can give back to her and show her all our love and support.  Any funds raised will go directly to Allie and her husband Billy to help support any new and old medical bills that they will have.
