This convention is a vital event for those affected by CHARGE Syndrome, providing invaluable resources, learning opportunities, as well as great support and connections with other people who have CHARGE Syndrome or have family members with CHARGE Syndrome.

We are raising funds to cover travel, hotel, food, accommodations, and other expenses to make this very important convention possible. Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for your support in this wonderful learning opportunity!

CHARGE Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that affects multiple systems in the body. The name "CHARGE" stands for:

C) Coloboma (a gap or hole in one of the structures of the eye)

H) Heart defects

A) Atresia of the choanae (narrowing or blockage of the nasal passages)

R) Retardation of growth and development

G) Genital and urinary abnormalities

E) Ear abnormalities and deafness

Individuals with CHARGE Syndrome may experience a range of symptoms that can affect their vision, hearing, heart, growth, and more, kids with CHARGE SYNDROME often spend a large amount of time in & out of HOSPITALS & DOCTOR'S OFFICES.

Early diagnosis and a multidisciplinary approach to care can greatly improve the quality of life for those affected.
