Help a Mom of 3 Avoid Eviction and Catch Up on Bills
Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m a single mom of three amazing kids. I lost my job back in November, and despite constant searching, I haven’t been able to find a new one yet. Things have become incredibly difficult—we’re now behind on rent and faced with eviction.
I’ve reached out to local resources and organizations for help, (211/DCF/local churches/communities/EPIC/Rental assitance services etc but unfortunately, none have been able to assist as they’re out of funds or I need to
be employed to get assistance. I also reached out to EVICTION PREVENTION IN THE COMMUNITY (EPIC) and do not qualify as I am not working.
I’m currently two months behind on rent, with August rent coming up in just two weeks. On top of that, I’m also behind on essential bills like electric, phone, and internet—which are all critical for our day-to-day life and for staying connected while I continue job searching.
The funds collected will be used to cover:
• Past-due rent for the last 2 months
• Upcoming August rent
• Outstanding utility bills: electric, phone, and internet
I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now, we need help just to stay afloat. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in helping us keep our home and maintain basic stability for my children.
If you can not donate I completely understand, but would appreciate you sharing to others who may be able to help.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support—it truly means the world to us.
