<div>My name is Elaine (I also go by Eleni), and I'm a migrant woman in a dire situation in desperate need of some help to re-build my life.

<div>To give some background, I moved from the USA to Australia a few years ago, a few months after my mother passed away, after I lost healthcare, and after experiencing multiple forms of sexual and familial abuse, and I've experienced a plethora of set-backs in my personal life due to trying to recover, find my footing and stability, and get my basic needs met. Unfortunately after my mother passed away, to my knowledge she did not have any life insurance, and we do not know what happened to her will. This remains a mystery to my sibling and me because we both remember our mother telling us she had all of that growing up. So in addition to losing my mother, there has been no financial assistance to help make anything slightly easier either. It has been difficult to make any semblance of income as I've been unable to find work that aligns with my unique needs. In order to continue trying to re-build, continue trying to find sources of income, and even emotionally regulate/try to function as a regular person in society, I need some financial help saving up for a psychiatrist most importantly, glasses, and medications. (I'm on 6 different prescriptions which I'm okay being on, but it does get expensive. When it comes to my eyesight, I have extremely poor vision and am in dire need of new glasses (especially as an artist), and MOST important, a psychiatrist that specializes in adult AuDHD and cPTSD/severe trauma so I can get a bit of extra support that I really need, as I've been in a chronic stage of burnout after everything that's happened, and I really need some professional help navigating, and well, professional help sadly isn't cheap, and isn't automatically provided by the system even if you are a victim and/or have other prior serious diagnoses, even in Australia.
