Hello Everyone,
My name is Sandeep Kolipaka, I have a friend named Ayazuddin Khaja his wife is suffering from a kidney infection (chronic kidney disease - CKD ), and both her kidneys need to be transplanted. It costs them approximately around 16 lakhs rupees (16,00,000 INR ) to transplant both the kidneys depending on the kidney donors.
He comes from a lower middle-class family and used to work as a medical lab technician at Medinova Diagnostic services in Khammam city, Telangana state in India. He or his family cannot afford this huge amount for the surgery. For the past 10 months, he is struggling to collect the funds asking everyone he knows for funds and I came to know recently about it. He is a childhood friend of mine and I was very much moved when I heard about his situation and I want to help him. He tried to donate one of his kidneys for his wife but unfortunately by birth, one of his kidneys is smaller and doctors didn't recommend doing it. He has two kids and I want to help them survive in this situation.
I know a lot of us help donate here and there, and I want to make sure this family is being supported in this crisis. If you are from India you know how tough it is for a lower middle-class family to afford this huge amount for surgery.
Please help me help this family survive and live a life they deserve. I request each and every one of you personally to donate as much as you can for this noble cause, I will really appreciate it. I will attach all the documents that I have received from him for proof of evidence. If any of you out there can help in any other ways if possible, please contact me.
What is (Chronic kidney disease )CKD?
Some of us don't know what it is ? and how severe it is ? and so I have added little information on what it is? Creatinine is the product of muscle metabolism. It is discharged by kidneys as a waste. In general, the level of creatinine in the blood is stable. However, creatinine the normal range (0.5-1.1mg/ml for women and 0.6-1.2mg/ml for men), for his wife presently as per the reports is 8.19mg/ml which is very high than normal, which indicates a severe kidney function loss.
When the kidneys are damaged, the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) declines so that excessive creatinine cannot be filtered. Therefore, patients will see their serum creatinine level elevate. In this case, the patient has no choice but to do dialysis on a regular basis or kidney transplant.
P.S- Since Gofundme is not supported in India, I will be the beneficiary and make sure personally all the funds received are utilized for the surgery and if any amount is left will make sure to donate it.
